Now, three friend groups have already reused this plan. So we figured: why not clean it up and share it. Decided to write some details along with so you dont make same mistakes.
If you are in a hurry, you can skip the city wise highlights and just go the end to see the exact itinerary we did.
Final semester is a weird, beautiful time.
You’re technically still a student, kind of job-hunting, kind of soul-searching, and desperately trying to squeeze in all the things you meant to do in the last four years. For us, one of those things was a final trip with friends - no resumes, no deadlines, just vibes/beer and Vietnamese food.
So we planned an 11-day itinerary across Vietnam in April - with two cheeky 12-hour layovers in Singapore and Bangkok for extra passport stamps and pad thai. This wasn’t a travel agent job. We crowdsourced from Reddit, travel blogs, friends, and sheer chaotic Googling to create something that felt flexible, fair, and fun for everyone.
If you're planning a Vietnam trip (especially with your college gang), this Notion doc is your one-stop playbook. It’s filled with things we actually did, things we wish we did, and things we did but probably wouldn’t again. Feel free to copy, tweak, or skip entire cities.
This isn't gospel, it's just a good place to start.
